Fabrication and characterization of active polymer optical fibers with a ring-doped structure

چکیده

This paper employs the solution-doping technique for fabrication of polymer optical fibers (POFs) doped with two perylene derivatives, Lumogen Yellow 083 and Red 305, in different combinations. With is very easy to control amount dopant penetration into core non-doped uncladded fibers, allowing active POFs a novel ring-doped structure. In addition manufacturing these have also been optically characterized. Specifically, influence combination dopants, pumping power wavelength, as well light propagation distance, measured analyzed. Furthermore, time-resolved emission characteristics determine fluorescence lifetimes extract information about energy transfer between dopants. Finally, aim this work has investigate performance aforementioned fluorescent lighting applications, special focus on tunable sources, sensing applications.
